Last week I posted late, but this week I’m posting early! This past Friday I felt down at work, and so I took a break and lay in the sun outside in a secluded area. I decided it’s going to be a weekly habit of mine, every weekday, to take that outdoors break away from the office.
I felt so peaceful lying in the sun. I tried to not think of anything, and just listened to the birds and focused on the sun filling up my body. Some strength of mind, heart, and body returned to me.
Then this poem just danced into my brain and I quickly wrote it down:
O Wind
Bless me with calm and softheartedness
As you tickle my feet
In my hour of need
I can hear your laughter
Just whispering byEver-loud, there you are
On stormy days of Autumn
Traipsing, galloping through me
Filling my hollow centerEver-quiet, there you are
On willowy days of Spring
Steps weaving a delicate bounce
Over and around me
Suffusing my heart with lightWhen I laugh, can you hear me?
by C.S. Kinnaird
O Wind
You listen to me, and I listen to you
Let us sit in quiet today

Let me know what you think!
Until next time,
Chaitanya
