Hey everybody,
Happy New Year! Crazy that it’s 2023 now, right? I’m glad the new year is here, but also, I’m not into new year’s resolutions, and sometimes I tend to look back at the past year and feel disappointed in what I haven’t completed. So, to counteract that, here are some achievements I made creatively in 2023; what about you?

- Almost completed my YA historical novel (finishing up this week!)
- Faced that I wasn’t ready for NaNoWriMo this year, and was OK with it
- Learned more about poetry and poetry publication
- Discovered even more amazing authors
- And books!
- Successfully used the 9-step Plot Dot template for outlining a novel(la)
